- Is your profession or are your skills suitable to perform as ‘side work’ to friends,
relatives and neighbors? Then get out and offer your services for a fee. You might be
surprised at how much need there is for your service and pleasantly surprised at how
much extra money that you can earn. - Apply for a part time job
- Inquire about overtime opportunities at your current job
- Babysitting
- House cleaning
- Yard cleaning
- Hold a garage sale
- Lawn mowing – get the kids involved
- Eliminate eating out and cook at home
- Reduce or (preferably) eliminate cable channels
- Rent movies or borrow movies from friends as opposed to going to the movies
- Reduce air conditioner usage and use oscillating fans on days that are not so hot
- Reduce central heat usage by bundling up or wearing a light sweater during the day
- Groceries: consider buying generic brands temporarily
- Special occasions, such as Christmas and Birthdays, consider cards ONLY
- Limit cost of gift giving to $10 to $20 dollars
- Maintain vehicle, IE: tire pressure, oil changes
- Consider public transportation or car-pooling

It will require piercing focus and discipline on your part to succeed. Trust me when I say that
the rewards are tremendous after you reach success.
