You can prevent identity theft. There are several online services to help protect your credit
report and protect you from being a victim of fraud. If you have not signed up for Identity
Protection do it now. It can save you a world of hurt in the future.
Here we go again.

As reported by TheFacts.com, a newspaper and web site magazine in Clute Texas,

“The Houston school district’s records apparently were compromised in October 1997, and
Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking into the theft of a Brazosport ISD
employee’s identity. The employee is going through the considerable effort to repair their
credit after being the victim of such activity, investigator Jimmy Miller said.”
The report went on to say, “If
anyone has applied to or worked for
HISD since 1997, their ID was
compromised,” Miller said. “Teachers
need to protect their identities.”

This report was published on
September 23, 2007.

If the
Houston Independent School
District
can experience a security
glitch and cause one of their own to
be a victim of identity theft, how
about the rest of us that have no
security in place.

I know that I have spouted this
