Start Saving a Little Each Week and Make Your Money GROW!
How about making a commitment to yourself and your family. A promise
in writing that in 1 to 2 years your lives will be completely different from what it is
today.

By sacrificing the “good things” in life for 1 to 2 years can make an enormous
difference in yours and your families future. It may be difficult at first, but if you
monitor closely your progress it will definitely become easier as the weeks go by.

$25.00 per week will turn to $1300 in 1 year; $2600 in 2 years
$50.00 per week will turn to $2600 in 1 year; $5200 in 2 years
$100.00 per week will turn to $5200 in 1 year; $10,400 in 2 years and so on…
(calculations use 52 weeks or 52 pay-periods per year)

Now when you put this money that you will be saving in an interest bearing
savings account with a high yield, your efforts will dramatically increase.

Where can you open an account with a high yield? One place is
ING DIRECT.
Start saving a little each week and you will see BIG results year after year

It is my belief that most working Americans can put a little bit of money into a savings account every week. However most
Americans believe that they need every last penny they earn just to make ends meet.

I disagree.

Take a good hard and honest look at what you spend daily.

  • What does it cost to pick-up breakfast in the morning? ($4.00 to $5.00)
  • What does it cost to have lunch? ($4.00 to $7.00)
  • How many trips do you make to the vending machine on a daily basis? Would eliminating a soda ($1.50) or a snack
($1.00) daily save you any money?
  • How many needless trips to the store or malls do you take? Gas prices are still skyrocketing!
  • How much do you spend on car washes or detailing your car? ($6.00 to $20.00)
  • How many times per week do you go out or order out for dinner? ($15.00 to $18.00 each time)

The list can go on and on but I think you get my meaning.

When I get into this subject with people, I mostly get sneers. However there are those that are bold enough say to me,
“What? We are not allowed to entertain and enjoy our lives?”

The quick answer is a resounding
"NO!"

If you are knee deep in debt and struggling to make ends meet, my contention is that you are not enjoying life at all.

I am always amazed at people that go out and get a second and third job just to “pay the bills.” Moreover, when the bills are
“caught up” they quit the second or third job and go back to recharging their credit cards. Never ending the vicious cycle.
I urge you to take a good hard look at where you can stop spending money and start saving money. The time will fly
by faster than you think and you will definitely be better off for your efforts.

And I am willing to bet that after you and your family make this sacrifice for 1 year or 2 years, you will most likely not go
back to your old spending ways.

Make the commitment - make the sacrifice - for a better tomorrow - for a better quality of life.

God Bless.
